Jo Gail Wallis, age 73, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024. She
was born on November 5, 1950 in Longview Texas, the daughter of James D Hardy and Patsy Ruth Hardy. Jo
Gail graduated from Rivercrest High School in 1968 and played a key role in securing a state championship
for the girls' basketball team. She pursued a business certification at PJC, gaining experience working
in several physicians' offices before dedicating 25 years of her career to Advanced Heart Care. On September
23rd, 2005, Gail married Jimmy Wallis, the love of her life, marking the start of her deep appreciation
for the outdoors. They enjoyed taking long trips to Colorado to admire the quaking aspen trees and weekly
drives to Beavers Bend to see the wildlife. This was the beginning of Gail's passion for taking pictures
of nature. She spent countless evenings riding the country roads capturing beautiful sunsets, rustic
barns, flowers and trees. She took joy in attracting birds with feeders, seizing the opportunity to
capture stunning photographs of these feathered visitors. Gail also dedicated her time cherishing her
grandchildren by following them in their sports, school activities and adventures. Gail was a devoted
mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, a good friend and she will be greatly missed. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Wallis; her parents; her sister, April Lee Hardy; her brothers,
Dwight Hardy, and Clint Hardy. Gail leaves to cherish her memory, her children, April Roddy and
