About David Harris:
In 1852, James Gilbert Harris and David Harris, the two unmarried sons of David and Rebecca migrated
to Wood County, Texas. The next year, David went back to Georgia and brought his mother Rebecca and
her maiden sister Dicy back to Texas with him along with several other members of the family. They
were among the pioneers of Wood County, Texas. The county was formed late in the year 1850, from portions
of Van Zandt County. ............................................................

About Susannah (Susan) Willson:
Susanna and her father, brothers, and a married sister migrated into Texas about 1845. They were found
in the 1850 Van Zandt County Census. Wood County was formed from part of Van Zandt in late 1850.
