About John Murray Deevers:

Residence in 1936 from marriage record: Rosston, Nevada, Arkansas

Served as a major in WWII, and was commander of the battalion that secured the bridge over the Rhine River at Remagen and prevented the Germans from blowing it up. He was a colonel at the time of his death, which occurred in an airplane crash (partly from Marie Key book).
