After selling his land, in 1777, Edward and son Stephen may have moved to North Carolina (unproven). ...........................................................................
Edward
Harris b. 1710 is the first generation recorded in the Harris family history written in 1963 by Mrs.
Marie Harris Key, formerly of Corpus Christi, Texas. Her work goes through generation nine. My information
on the descendants of Edward Harris, generations one through nine, is based very heavily on her work.
I myself am a ninth generation descendant of Edward Harris b. 1710. ............................................................................
