Marc Edward Phelan
August 26, 1961 - March 14, 2015
Marc Edward Phelan, peacefully passed away in his home, surrounded by his family, on March 14, 2015, after a valiant and determined battle with cancer. Marc defeated cancer twice before finally succumbing to it, yet he unswervingly maintained a hopeful outlook and his sense of humor until the very end.

Marc was born to his parents John Phelan and Kae Box on August 26th, 1961 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Marc is survived by his wife, Gloria Phelan; and his son, Wesley Phelan. Marc was a devoted husband, father, friend and family member.

He was hard-working and dependable and he worked for the same company for thirty- four years. Marc loved going to estate sales, traveling, fishing, classic rock, absurd comedies, the mountainous outdoors, and sipping coffee on the patio, but most of all he loved his family and friends. Though Marc will be missed, he impacted many peoples lives and left us with many memories which will be cherished.
