Obituary
RUSSELL, LOUNEAL LYONS, died Sunday, March 1, 2009 after a long illness. Born in
Nashville, AR on June 30, 1919, she joined John Russell in Holy Matrimony on February 13, 1941. The
couple resided in Bogalusa, LA after their marriage before relocating to Orlando, FL, where Mr. Russell
established a successful business in the sale of Holy Bibles, office located in College Park. The couple
traveled extensively throughout the country, visiting almost every state in the union. Mrs. Russell
taught Sunday School and was a member of the College Park Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She
is survived by her husband, John; son, John, III; and daughter Lena Clinkscale; five grandchildren;
six great-grandchildren; and a niece, Lisa Thomas, in Northern Arkansas. The family will receive visitors
at the Baldwin-Fairchild Ivanhoe Chapel, 301 NE Ivanhoe Blvd., Orlando this Thursday from 10AM to 12
Noon, with funeral services at 12 Noon, immediately followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando.
Following interment, guests are invited to the College Park Baptist Church for the sharing of a meal
and in celebration of Louneal's life. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations
in Louneal's name to the College Park Baptist Church, 1914 Edgewater Drive, Orlando, FL 32804. Published
