In 1849 William BOOTH left Autauga Co. AL with 12 children. One of his sons was Charlie Dawson 
BOOTH buried at Old Salem. There were several graves at this cemetery site, but all stones have been 
removed and used otherwise (as of 1981). William BOOTH and probably other members of his family 
were buried here. William BOOTH was probably the original BOOTH settler in this area. He is believed 
to the grandfather of Floyd P. WILSON 
This was the location of a Primitive Baptist church in the early days known as the Little Flock Church. 
The church was pastored in 1893 by Elder Nathan C. YARBOROUGH (husband of Mary BACCHUS, 
daughter of Asa W. BACCHUS and Sarah F. BUSHART, the daughter of Jaco BUSHART and Nancy 
Fullingwider. (C. H. BULLOCK)
