| Notes for Martha Frances Hardy |
| I believe her full name was Martha Frances Hardy. That name was on a letter written by her father to her mother during the Civil War (see letter here: http://www.thehardyparty.com/hardy/letter1_molias_hardy.htm). In this letter and one other I have, he referred to his daughter as "Matty". Those are the only records of her that I've found. The census records of 1870 and 1880 which show her mother do not show her present. She may have died prior to 1870. ................................................................................................. |
