| Notes for Maynard Bartow Harris |
| Maynard Harris was a lawyer and practiced in Springplace, Georgia before moving to Fort Worth, Texas in 1889. He served two terms beginning 1896 as County Judge of Tarrant County, Texas. Judge Harris and his brother Judge W. D. Harris composed the firm of Law, Harris, and Harris of Fort Worth for many years. Coincidentally, Judge M. B. Harris's signature shows up on an Application for Confederate Pension submitted by another relative of mine (on the Ferguson side of my family) in Tarrant County in 1899. |
