Obituary of Leonard William Ferguson (From Shreveport Journal) FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN OKLAHOMA L. W. Ferguson Sr., of Heavener, Okla., a resident of Shreveport for 45 years, died in a hospital in Oklahoma after a short illness. He was an employee of Kansas City Southern until he retired nine years ago. Mr. Ferguson is survived by his widow; two sons, L. W. Ferguson Jr., and H. H. Ferguson; two daughters, Mrs. James Eley, and Mrs. R. C. Hardy, all of Shreveport; his mother, Mrs. J. W. Ferguson of Shreveport; a brother, J. A. Ferguson; sister, Mrs. Ray Wyatt and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services are to be at Dowden Funeral Home at Heavener, Okla. at 10:00 a.m. Thursday.
